Twin Flames Journey to Awakening - Part 1

Chapter One

In The Beginning

“Hi Amethyst. I’m in Newark Airport in NJ. I’m getting ready to board the next plane to Orlando. Will you be there when I get off the plane?” He seemed a little nervous so we didn’t have much small talk.

“Yes. I’m at work and get off at 5:00pm. So, I’ll be there by the time you get your bag and make it outside. I’ll be in a small silver car and will beep the horn when I’m there.”

… 3 Months Earlier

I’m sitting on the living room floor of my house going through the boxes I had in the basement for over four years. Many of those I hadn’t opened, or even seen, since we bought the house.

‘Why do I have so much stuff?’ I thought, scratching my head.

‘Clothes with the tags still on them and forty pairs of shoes. Who needs three different sets of dishes anyways?! Ugh’….

It’d been months since I felt the strong urge to move from New Jersey and I wasn’t exactly sure where it was coming from. I had manifested just about everything I thought I wanted. I owned my second home and loved where I lived. My husband and I made decent money and we had good friends who lived nearby. My sister and mother were about an hour away. And best of all, I had established both a Reiki and a Massage Therapy practice with a Real Estate career on the side. Many people would have loved what we co-created together. But with all these amazing things, I couldn’t help but feel like something was amiss.

My teenage daughter had altered the plans one day while I was looking online at apartments in Sedona, Arizona, when she asked why the sudden urge to move? It actually wasn’t as sudden as my daughter thought. I was feeling a strong pull to move to Sedona that had been brewing in me for a while, although it was far from my family.

Out of the blue, my daughter, Hope, had all of these ‘interesting’ stories from her friends about why we shouldn’t move there.

“You know Arizona is a desert and doesn’t have any water, right?!” Hope exclaimed one day with certainty.

“What?” I said, nearly laughing.

“Why do you want to move so far from Grandma anyways?” She stood there with her beautiful brown eyes staring straight into mine, as she waited for an answer. Her seemingly natural confidence since childhood was always something I admired.

I couldn’t explain why I wanted to move there in a way that she could easily understand. When I really thought about it, this feeling was more like a calling to move there… something that was stronger than any need I may have had to stay close to my family. For me, Sedona seemed like a place that has an energy that was very attractive to my soul. By the same token, I wanted my daughter to be happy with our move. It was for this very reason that I decided to ask her to think of a place where she would like to move for a change of pace, and we would talk about it another time. Whether we moved to Sedona or not, I was still being guided to move. With Hope now almost 18, I knew that she’d be off to college soon… and once she left for college, I’d move there.

Waiting a bit after I walked out of the room, Hope finally shouted, “Florida!”

“Florida? Florida… what?” I said turning around to look at her.

“I’d move to Florida.” She said. “We have family there and don’t you have a friend there that you’re always on the phone with… Kendal or something?” she said smiling.

“Kendal is not interested in me silly goose. He’s interested in James, remember?”

“Well, maybe you can change his mind.” She said as she trailed off slowly towards the stairs and up to her room.

“Florida, huh? Let me meditate on this.”

“Yaaay, we’re moving to Florida!” She ran back down, jumped on my back, kissed my cheek, and then went upstairs.

So, Hope wants to move to Florida. She’d been through a lot with shifting schools and living with us full time, so I didn’t want to upset her. I also felt that a clean slate and slower pace would be welcome. The East Coast just didn’t feel like home anymore… especially the Northeast.

‘Maybe we can move to Florida for a year or two then move to Sedona,’ I thought.

The original feeling to move West had been thwarted… at least for now.

***

Later that week I decided to share the news with Mom while having one of our weekly calls.

“Why do you have to move to Florida?” my mother asked.

“Well, it’s closer than Arizona… and there’s Disney.” I said, trying to make a joke. But my mother was hardly amused.

“Joking Ma, I’m joking! You know how much I love palm trees and bright sunny weather. New Jersey’s always gray and rainy, especially during the long winter months. I love being near water and a good friend of mine lives not too far from auntie. Plus, I see this as a good opportunity for Hope and me to have a fresh start. She’s been having a tough time adjusting to being in high school here, and it can be a nice change of pace for us both.”

“But, why do you have to move? First your older sister and now you.”

“Ma, Nicky moved 10 years ago,” I said while holding back my laugh.

My mother is a sweetheart. She has a way of talking about things like they’d just happened yesterday. I love my mother dearly, and she had become one of my best friends. But the feeling in me to move was overpowering any other feelings of what or who I’d be leaving behind.

It’s funny how the urge to move West came about, when I always thought I would end up going North to Canada where I always visited. I remember when I had an application to become a Canadian resident, but ended up not following through with it. I would get strong feelings to visit different places and make plans to go on short weekend road trips. Flying is the quickest way to travel long distances, but I started seeing more to a trip then just the destination. The Earth is Amazingly beautiful, and when you fly everywhere even those short distance trips, you miss so much beauty in between.

I didn’t know it at the time but I was what Dolores Cannon described in one of her books as a ‘Second Waver’ helping to spread light in locations that needed it most. I was also enjoying life as much as possible and keeping myself excited about life when I was off from my work week.

Chapter Two

Down the Rabbit Hole

It all started a few years before I felt the pull to move West. My good friend, Jayla introduced me to a few spiritual teachers online. I became friends with a few of the women and began to peer into what they were sharing. That’s when a rain of synchronistic events started to happen in my life as things began to shift even more… and really speed up...
